It should be discussed here that Chhattisgarh Public Service (Reservation for Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and Other Backward Classes) Amendment Bill, 2022 was passed in the Chhattisgarh Legislative Assembly on December 3 last month. And the Chhattisgarh Educational Institutions (Reservation in Admission) Amendment Bill 2022 was passed. As per the Bills, Scheduled Tribes 32 percent, Other Backward Classes percent, Scheduled Castes 35 percent in the state percent and a provision of four percent reservation has been made for the Economically Weaker Section (EWS). In this bill, the total quota of reservation in the state has been kept percent. After the passage of the bill in the assembly, it was sent to the Raj Bhavan for the assent of the governor. Then the Raj Bhavan had asked 13 questions to the State Government, to which the State Government has replied.
