The Forest Department has arrested three people while seizing the remains of Nilgai, while many accused are still absconding. According to the forest department, they received information that some people are hunting Nilgai near Ladkui in rural area of Nasrullaganj and Kishanpur near Gogra. Acting on this, the Forest Department team has caught three people with the remains of Nilgai. The weight of Nilgai’s remains is about two quintals. The arrested accused in the case have been identified as Jagdish and Ranglal of Kishanpur and Seena of Ghoghra. Partition was going on after the hunt
Based on inquiry The forest department got information that about 07 people together hunted Nilgai. All of them were sharing the remains of Nilgai after the hunt. All of them were preparing to eat it, when the forest department caught them. The Forest Department is probing the matter. Efforts are being made to arrest the remaining absconding accused. It is reported that there are generally no Nilgai in this area. It must have come to this area from Khategaon area and was killed by hunters. This is the first case of nilgai being hunted in the area. ,
