PM Modi said, “In our constitutional set-up, the subject of water comes under the control of the states. States’ efforts to conserve water will go a long way in achieving the country’s collective goals.” Underlining the public’s participation in water conservation, he said that public participation in water conservation has to be awakened in the minds of the public. The more efforts we make in this direction, the more impact will be created. Highlighting the importance of technology, he said, “Technologies like geo-mapping and geo-sensing are playing a vital role in the task of water conservation.”
