Defence Minister can announce some important development projects, can interact with soldiers

According to the officials, Rajnath will also interact with the jawans posted in and around the Andaman and Nicobar Islands. An official said, “The Defense Minister may announce some important development projects, which include expansion of the airstrip at Car Nicobar, Campbell Bay and Shibpur (North Andaman). This will further strengthen the capabilities of the ANC.” The ANC is the first tri-service theater command of the Armed Forces, established on October 8 2001.
