It may be noted that in this meeting Health Secretary, Department of Pharmaceuticals, Department of Biotechnology, AYUSH, Director General of Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) Rajeev Behl, Member (Health) of NITI Aayog Dr. V.K. Paul and other officials including Dr NK Arora, chairman of the National Technical Advisory Group on Immunization (NTAGI), attended the meeting. Dr. Randeep Guleria, former director of AIIMS and currently associated with Medanta Hospital, has given a statement regarding the impact of Corona in India. He said India’s position is much better than China as our vaccination strategy has been very successful, most people in the high-risk group have taken booster doses and natural infection has occurred.
