College Principal Dr. Rahman – Photo: SOCIAL MEDIA Expansion In the matter of spreading religious bigotry and giving provocative teachings in Law College, Indore, the police arrested the principal of the college, Dr. Rehman has been made an accused, but due to ill health, he was admitted to a private hospital. The District Court has also rejected his anticipatory bail application. Now the police is waiting for his recovery so that he can be arrested. On the other hand, the inquiry committee formed on the instructions of the Higher Education Minister started the investigation. The committee also discussed with the complainant students. First suspended six professors, then resigned himself Principal Dr. Rehman suspended the first six professors after the case of religious bigotry in Law College. When the controversial books were found in the college library, the college principal had also resigned, although his resignation has not been accepted yet. Principal Dr. Rehman had submitted an application in the sessions court for anticipatory bail. It has been argued that the book in question was not purchased during his tenure. Because of this, he is not at fault. Argued that in whose time the book was bought is not the issue. The accused were brainwashing the students through the controversial book. They have tried to spread religious fanaticism among the students by forming small groups. If the accused are given bail, a good message will not go in the society. After hearing the arguments, the court rejected the application refusing to grant bail to the principal and another professor.
