Karnataka Blast : The blast in Mangaluru, Karnataka is not an ordinary blast but it is a “terrorist act”. Karnataka Director General of Police (DGP) Praveen Sood has said that the blast in a moving autorickshaw in Mangaluru is an “act of terrorism”.

It may be mentioned here that the blast took place in an autorickshaw near a police station on Saturday evening in which a passenger and the driver were injured.Both have been admitted to the hospital. A moving autorickshaw caught fire after an explosion.The driver and a passenger sitting in the autorickshaw suffered burn injuries.
9138691386Police have received CCTV footage in the case. In the CCTV footage of the spot, the autorickshaw is seen catching fire after a minor explosion. Earlier, after the explosion, City Police Commissioner N Shashi Kumar reached the spot and after inspection shared the information with the media. He had told that the autorickshaw was on ‘fire’ and there was no need to panic.
