PK Mishra – Photo: Amar Ujala Expansion In Madhya Pradesh, there has been a ruckus over the appointment of VD Sharma’s father-in-law Dr. Pramod Kumar Mishra as Vice-Chancellor of Jawaharlal Nehru Agricultural University, Jabalpur. Congress MLA and Leader of Opposition Dr. Govind Singh has raised questions on his appointment. He has written a letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi demanding an inquiry into his appointment. Also warned that if they do not do so, they will get the CBI inquiry done after a month. On these allegations, Pramod Kumar Mishra told Amar Ujala that he was appointed on the basis of merit. His daughter and wife of State President VD Sharma also replied on the question of appointment of Assistant Professor Stuti Sharma in the University. Question- Congress Questioning your appointment. I have been appointed on the basis of merit. I have a job for 233 years. I have been a professor in the university for 233 years. He was also a selector professor. Along with this, there was additional charge of Dean Faculty for four years, Director Research Service for two and a half years, Registrar for more than one year.
