He also interacted with prominent members of the local community. During this, he said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi may have been his volunteer, but the Sangh does not control any person or organization doing independent work. Bhagwat further said that when the name of the Sangh comes, people think of Modi ji. Modi ji is our volunteer. Bhagwat said that when someone talks about RSS, people also think of Vishwa Hindu Parishad And they believe that there are volunteers in that organization too, they have the same thinking. He said that but all these are not unions. They are doing their work, the Sangh is doing its independent work. It is a different matter that RSS and such organizations and individuals (who have been RSS swayamsevaks) have a connection, and sometimes the Sangh helps them for a good cause. But the Sangh has no control over such organization-people, neither directly nor indirectly, Bhagwat insisted. The RSS chief also said that Hinduism is not just a religion but a way of life. He said that this is a tradition which has been cherished by all creeds, castes and religions. ,
