Two farmers died due to poisonous gas in Balaghat. The matter has come to the fore. First a farmer got into the well to repair the water motor, he started suffocating. Landed in the well in Udasitola village under Lalbarra police station of Balaghat district Two farmers died due to suffocation due to poisonous gas. The fields of both the farmers were adjacent to each other. After getting the dead bodies out, the police took panchnama action and sent them for postmortem.

According to SDOP Barasivni Arvind Srivastava, Ramlal Nageshwar, one kilometer away from village Udasitola () had a farm. A motor was installed in the well built in the field for irrigation. The farmer landed in the well at around 2 pm to repair the motor. During this, when he started suffocating, he pleaded for help. Hearing the call for help, he was working in the neighboring farm Jeevan Lal also went down in the well. Both died of suffocation due to gas in the well. Jeevanlal’s brother-in-law was also working in the field. He immediately informed the people and the police about the incident. Police reached the spot and took out the dead bodies. Police have sent the dead bodies for postmortem after Panchnama action. The postmortem of the dead bodies will be held on Tuesday. ,
