2017 Madhu Srivastava contested on BJP ticket and won. In the last election, he had a fight with another strong candidate Dharmendra Singh Vaghela. Vaghela is known by the name of Bapu among his supporters. Dharmendra Singh Vaghela is preparing to enter the independent field again after Madhu Srivastava’s ticket was cut. If both Madhu Srivastava and Dharmendra Singh contest as independents, it will be difficult for the BJP to capture Waghodia. However, it is being discussed that if such a situation arises, the candidate who wins the election from here is more likely to go back to BJP.
