Extension 1661878609 Chief of Jabalpur High Court Accepting the request, Justice Ravi Vijay Kumar Malimath and Justice Vishal Mishra posted the next hearing after four weeks. 23 july Judicial Officer Rajvardhan Gupta was indecently assaulted on the National Highway at Mandsaur.
After a preliminary inquiry, relevant newspaper reports, video clippings and other evidence corroborated the attacks on Gupta, the Registrar General placed the entire matter before the then Acting Chief Justice Rajendra Menon. Expressing concern over the occurrence of such incidents even after the orders given earlier, the High Court had directed to hear the case in the form of a public interest litigation.
While hearing the petition, the High Court asked the government to set up boundary balls and police posts of sufficient height in the court premises, security of judicial officers and their families in the residential premises and security arrangements in the court. Instructions were given to present the status report in this regard. In the status report presented by the government, it has been said that in the 75 district court of the state Boundary ball of sufficient height, height of boundary ball is not sufficient in three district courts and there is no boundary ball in four district courts. Apart from this, there are permanent police posts in six district courts and temporary police posts in six district courts of the state. Expressing objection to the status report presented on behalf of the High Court regarding the security system, the appointed advocate had told the couple that only The District Court has a boundary ball of sufficient height. Apart from this, other objections were also presented in the status report presented by the government. The High Court had issued orders to the government to present the status report again.
सरकार द्वारा स्टेटस रिपोर्ट पेश नहीं करने पर हाईकोर्ट ने दस हजार रुपये की कॉस्ट लगाई थी। पिछली सुनवाई के दौरान सरकार की तरफ फ्रेश स्टेटस रिपोर्ट पेश की गई। याचिका पर मंगलवार को हुई सुनवाई के दौरान हाईकोर्ट की तरफ से नियुक्त अधिवक्ता ने फ्रेश रिपोर्ट पर लिखित जवाब पेश करने समय प्रदान करने का आग्रह किया गया था।
