Indicative picture – Photo: Social Media Expansion In Ujjain, a case of cheating through DD (draft) has come to light with a grocery merchant of the city, in which the bank is being told to pay one crore rupees from the photo of the draft itself. In the case, the businessman has given an application to the Badnagar police station and requested to take action against the three people who cheated and get the money back in the account. The complainant has also accused the bank manager of being involved in the fraud. Sub-inspector Surendra Garwal of Badnagar police station said, current account of firm of Pawan Agarwal father Sitaram Agarwal resident Shivaji Road Badnagar Agarwal is in SDFC Bank in the name of the agency. A Demand Draft (DD) amounting to one crore was made from the account in the name of Rajveer Food Corporation in connection with the business, in which contact was discussed through Akash resident of Badnagar and Vijay resident of Ujjain, after which their partner Rohit Jha After contacting DD’s photo was WhatsApped. When for some reason Pawan did not find it right to give this amount during business, he canceled it in the bank by taking this DD. Went to get it done, then bank manager Rajesh Goswami told that this DD has been paid to Rajveer Food Corporation. While Pawan had the original DD in his hands, yet the bank manager Goswami refused to cancel the DD. Same, paid through fake demand draft DD. Pawan told that even before paying one crore, no information was given to us by the manager Goswami. While manager Goswami said that my signature is yet to be done on the original DD. Whenever you get the DD paid, the DD will not be paid without my notice and my signature.
