BJP had entered into an alliance with the Eknath Shinde faction in June last year. During this, it was decided to reward Shinde by giving him the post of CM. BJP leaders and the party cadre in Maharashtra were upset by this decision. These were the people associated with BJP who wanted to see Fadnavis as the Chief Minister. However, the BJP high command made up its mind to send a strong message to its alliance partners. Ahead of the Lok Sabha and Assembly elections, the BJP believes that it Can’t face political challenges alone. In such a situation, he will have to depend on Shinde Sena. At the same time, there will be full emphasis on maintaining the balance regarding Shinde’s dominance with Shiv Sena.
