After hearing the case, the special bench convicted the convict in August 2013 was sentenced to death. The Special Bench had referred the case to the High Court for confirmation of the sentence. An appeal was also filed in the High Court against the sentence on behalf of the convict. During the hearing, a request has been made on behalf of the petitioner to grant permission for the test of the doctor who gave the DNA report. The High Court issued the above instructions after the hearing. Yagyavalk Shukla appeared on behalf of the petitioner. ,
