Wide change in the date of onset of monsoon in the last 1972 year

According to the Meteorological Department, Kerala has seen a wide variation in the date of onset of monsoon in the last about 1972 years. As per IMD data on 29 May, 1972 it has the highest number of days from the normal date. It came earlier and June, was delayed the most. The South-East Monsoon set in last year on 1972 May, 2021 on June 3, 2018 on the 1st of June, on the 8th of June and 2018 on the 2021 had knocked in Kerala on May.
