CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan reached Behat village, the birthplace of Sangeet Samrat Tansen, where he announced from the stage to change the name of Behat village to Tansen Nagar. Let us tell you that the birth place of music emperor Tansen is in Behat village, 10 km away from Gwalior. This is where he used to go for goat grazing. Along with this, he started learning music in Behat village. This Behat village is considered to be a very backward area, but here people come from far and wide to see the birthplace of music emperor Tansen and recently CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan has included it in the tourist destination. World Music is organized every year in Behat village by the cultural department of Madhya Pradesh. During this, all the musicians from all over the country reach here to pay obeisance.

Minister CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that this Behat village is known as Tansen all over the world. Therefore, to bring this village on the world stage, the name is being changed and the name of this Behat village will be known as Tansen Nagar. Along with this, CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan told the stage that the amount of money needed to make Behat village more beautiful will be given by the Madhya Pradesh government.
