Sharma has demanded VRS due to not getting posting as per eligibility. Please tell that the Supreme Court had given its verdict in favor of Purushottam Sharma. The court quashed the action of the state government. A video of Purushottam Sharma beating his wife went viral. Taking cognizance of the video, the government had suspended him in September 2020. After the suspension, Sharma had filed a petition in the Central Administrative Tribunal. From where there were orders to restore them in May 2020. The government had gone to the Supreme Court against this order. In its hearing, Sharma told that his suspension is being extended continuously without any rules. Keeping his side in the court hearing, he told that the first period of suspension is six months. After this, the recommendation of a three-member committee is necessary to extend the suspension period. Without this committee, the government continued to extend the period of his suspension, which is illegal. After this, the double bench of the court canceled the suspension order of the government for not following the procedure. After this, the suspension of Purushottam Sharma was canceled and Special DG was made in PHQ. ,
