New Delhi : Former Deputy Chief Minister of Delhi Manish Sisodia has got a big blow from the High Court. On Monday, the Delhi High Court refused to grant interim bail to Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Manish Sisodia in a money laundering case related to the liquor scam. The court has rejected Manish Sisodia’s interim bail application. Justice Dinesh Kumar Sharma, however, told Manish Sisodia one morning while in custody 17 permitted to meet his ailing wife between 5.00 pm and 5.00 pm.

Bail was sought for taking care of sick wife

Former Deputy Chief Minister of Delhi Manish Sisodia, while requesting for interim bail, said that there is no one else to take care of his ailing wife Seema. Sisodia’s plea for regular bail in the case is pending before the High Court. Sisodia, who was arrested in this case on March 9, 2021, is currently in the judicial custody of the Enforcement Directorate (ED). The ED has opposed the interim bail plea expressing apprehension of tampering with the evidence.
