• 7 teams of NDRF, 5 units of ODRAF and fire services and emergency units are engaged in the rescue operation.

• Tower lights were arranged to carry out the relief work at night.

• Paramedical staff with medicines More than ) medical teams are mobilized at the accident site for treatment.

• More than 100 ambulances are busy shifting to hospitals.

• Food and drinking water arrangements have been made for stranded passengers at various stations.

• For movement of stranded passengers 30 Buses have been deployed.

• Around 900 injured persons have been shifted to hospitals at Soro, Balasore, Bhadrak and Cuttack.

• Injured persons are getting free treatment in government and private hospitals.

• All injured/stranded passengers were rescued.
