Addressing the program, Army General Manoj Pandey said- Today the country is on the cusp of transformative changes, we are witness to the growing stature of our country in the international environment and high expectations from the world community. The rising aspirations of our people along with our concurrent development, all reflect the confident optimism of an emerging nation. Elaborating further, Pandey said- Due to our legacy issues of volatile border and related security challenges, possession of strategic deterrent equipment is essential in our case. As users of the BrahMos missile system, the three services of the defense forces are now capable of not only deterrence but also of retaliating forcefully if required. ,
