One cub died on Tuesday. Now only one cub is left. Initial information says that these cubs died due to malnutrition. from Namibia Three out of four cubs of Cheetah Siaya alias Jwala, who were brought to India on September, have died so far. These four cubs were born two months back in the last week of March. Including these, six of the cheetahs brought from African countries have died so far. These include three cubs and three adult cheetahs. Now in Kuno National Park adult cheetah and a cub are alive. As per the official information A cub of female cheetah Jwala died in the morning on May. After this, the team of wildlife doctors posted in Palpur and the monitoring team kept monitoring the remaining three cubs and female cheetah Jwala throughout the day. Cheetah Jwala was given supplemental food during the day. The condition of the remaining three cubs did not seem normal during monitoring. It is also worth noting that 17 May was also the hottest day of this summer season. Maximum temperature of the day approx -46 degrees Celsius. Extremely hot winds and heat waves continued throughout the day. In view of the unusual condition and heat of the three cubs, the team of management and wildlife doctors immediately rescued the three cubs. Decided to take necessary treatment. The condition of two cubs was very bad and despite all the efforts of treatment, they could not be saved. One cub was kept in a critical condition in Palpur hospital under intensive treatment and monitoring. He is being continuously treated. For treatment, the advice of cheetah experts and doctors from Namibia and South Africa is being sought. The cub is currently in intensive care. His health is stable.
