The selected contractor will have to supply flowers, garlands, bouquets, flower pots and other decorations for one year. The corporation has asked for a bank guarantee of Rs 7.50 lakh in the tender. For this, the condition of turnover of thirty lakh rupees has also been laid. Altogether, Bhopal Municipal Corporation will have to spend 1.5 crore rupees for this. It is ridiculous that despite the poor financial condition, such huge expenditure is being spent on flowers and garlands. Congress tightened comment
