If reports are to be believed, BJP national president JP Nadda was also present in the meeting. However, the details of what transpired in the meeting have not come to the fore. If reports are to be believed, the Chief Minister may address the media in the capital Imphal on Monday to brief the journalists about his visit to Delhi. Biren Singh and other members of the delegation were called to Delhi for the meeting, after which their Union Minister Amit Had a meeting with Shah. Sources said keeping in view the political developments after the clashes, the central leadership of the BJP called the chief minister to Delhi. With tensions between the two sides still high in Manipur, the BJP leadership is treading cautiously to manage the situation. The rising demand for leadership changeAccording to media reports, the demand for change of leadership seems to be increasing in Manipur, especially from the Kuki MLAs and the community. However, the party leadership has not yet decided on the matter. It is being told that the central leadership is not at all happy with the developments in the state and the way the Chief Minister is handling it.
