Bengaluru : The results for the Karnataka assembly elections are going to be declared today. This election is being considered as the semi-final of the Lok Sabha elections for the political parties of India. To achieve victory, all national and regional political parties including BJP, Congress, JDS have put their full strength. Congress state president DK Shivakumar, former chief ministers Siddaramaiah, Jagadish Shettar, BJP’s BS Yeddyurappa, Yeddyurappa’s son Vijayendra and JDS leader and former chief minister HD Kumaraswamy are the big faces and veteran politicians on whom big stakes have been made. Congress and BJP are claiming their respective victories. It remains to be seen that on whose head the voters of Karnataka have voted for crown on last 10 May, will be decided by today’s results.
