According to the information, Preeti, a resident of Ghoghara village of Madiyado police station area, was married to Karan Adivasi, a resident of Manakpura of Rajpura police station area, on May 3. She reached her in-laws house on May 4 and her sister-in-law’s wedding was on May 8. Sister-in-law’s procession had reached Ghoghra village. This very night the bride went missing from the house. Husband took information around, relatives and maternal uncle were contacted, then it was not known.
It is now being speculated that the newly married woman has eloped with a young man from her village, who had reached her sister-in-law’s wedding on the pretext of playing the instrument. In this regard, station in-charge Rajeev Purohit said that the victim was married three days ago in a village under Madiyado police station area, whose wife has gone missing.
