The young man who came to meet his girlfriend was murdered by the girl’s brother and uncle. Not only this, after the murder, the dead bodies of both were thrown into the river. The police have registered a case of murder and arrested the accused uncle-nephew. According to Shiv Mangal Singh, Katangi police station in-charge of Jabalpur, Raja alias Krishnakant Lodhi, a resident of Bhairav Ghat under Belkheda police station ()’s father died in childhood. The young man’s schooling was done while living in Nanihal located in Pauri. Meanwhile, a love affair had developed between a girl living in the village and him, while the family members of the girl were against the love affair. The young man had come to meet his girlfriend on Saturday night. The girl’s brother Rajul Lodhi and uncle Raghavendra Lodhi saw her. Together they beat up the young man. The young man died due to being attacked with a pipe in the head. After killing, both of them threw the dead body in the village river. The dead body of the youth was found while being lowered into the river on Sunday morning. Police had sent the dead body for postmortem after Panchnama action. Due to injury marks in the body, the family members protested by keeping the dead body in Patan intersection alleging murder. They called off the protest after the police’s persuasion. After investigation, the police registered a case of murder and arrested the accused uncle-nephew. ,
