Residents have been agitating continuously for a month against the liquor shop but the administration is not ready to shift the liquor shop. After protesting against the liquor shop, the resident committee organized a candle march, which came out from the service road in front of the liquor shop. Women and children were walking in the march with candles and tricolor in their hands. They were also raising slogans. Residents say that the area where the liquor shop is open. There are two hospitals there. Apart from this, the bus stop of school buses is also near the liquor shop. When women wait for their children standing at the stop, then the drunkards misbehave. People from more than colonies around adopt the service road. With the opening of the liquor shop, there would be haphazard parking on the service road and traffic would have been disrupted. If the administration does not remove the liquor shop, then the residents will do fierce agitation. Councilor Kamal Laddha was also present in the candle march. Minister Usha Thakur has also reached among the residents and opposed the liquor shop.
