Giving information about the incident, army officials said, during the joint operation, in Kandi forest of Rajouri, the terrorists fired an explosive device in retaliation. Along with the injuries to four more soldiers including an officer, two soldiers of the army team have been martyred. Additional teams from nearby areas have been directed to the encounter site. The injured personnel have been taken to the Command Hospital in Udhampur. According to initial reports, a group of terrorists is trapped in the area.
