Mumbai : Committee meeting will be held on May 5 for the new president of the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP). Party founder Sharad Pawar, after announcing his resignation from the post of president, has formed a committee to select his successor, whose meeting will be held on Friday. A senior NCP leader said that this meeting of the committee will be held at the party office at YB Chavan Center in South Mumbai at in the morning. Sharad Pawar’s daughter Supriya Sule, his nephew Ajit Pawar, Praful Patel, Chhagan Bhujbal and other leaders are included as members of this committee. Sharad Pawar surprised everyone by announcing his resignation from the post of president on Tuesday. However, at the moment he is not retiring from public life.
