Karnataka Assembly Election: Senior Congress leader and former minister M.B. Patil said that he is a senior leader of the Lingayat community and there is no threat to his status due to Jagadish Shettar and Laxman Savadi from the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) nor will his chances of becoming the chief minister be affected.
