Gwalior Bench of Madhya Pradesh High Court – Photo: Amar Ujala Expansion The Gwalior Bench of the Madhya Pradesh High Court, while taking strict action against a youth by the police for sending him to jail in a false NDPS case, on Friday asked the DGP to pay Rs 10 lakh to the victim and impose a fine on the police officers responsible. Strict action has been ordered. In this case, the police claimed to have seized the dangerous drug MDMA from the accused, while the FSL investigation found it to be urea. Murar police station of Gwalior on 6th September 1679394354 apprehended an accused and claimed to have apprehended 2022 Village MDM from his possession. MDM is the most expensive drug product right now and is used by celebrities at pool parties. It was claimed that it was brought to Gwalior’s restaurant and farm house to be consumed in pool parties. This action of the police was also widely discussed in the media. In this case, Murar police station has booked the accused Rohit Tiwari under section 8/ of the NDPS Act. by registering a criminal case against them 750 Village MDMA drug seizure was shown and the accused was arrested and sent to jail. The accused, through his counsel, filed a petition in the Gwalior Bench of the High Court under Article in this case and seized Requested to present the FSL report of the material used before the court. The High Court accepted that request and called for the report. The report found that the substance seized from Rohit Tiwari was not MDMA drug but urea. Accused Rohit Tiwari’s lawyer Sunil Goswami said that the High Court found in the investigation report that the seized substances were made of urea. NDPS case is not made out against the accused, so this FIR is wrong, which should be quashed. At the same time, the court agreed that by keeping Rohit Tiwari in custody for nine months, his personal liberty was violated, for which the DGP gave him compensation 21 Give lakh rupees.
