There was a stir when some people of the municipality together attacked the Lokayukta team which had reached to take action. They were jostled and beaten up. Now there is talk of registering an FIR against them by marking them through CCTV. Please tell that a person named Nitin Jain 28 Had complained to Gwalior Lokayukta on April. He told that he had applied for the transfer of his house to the municipality Bhind, but even after completing the paper work, Babu Ajay Rajawat posted in the transfer branch was postponing the work. When Nitin spoke openly to him, the accused Ajay Rajawat demanded Rs one lakh from him for the transfer of the name of the house. Lokayukta DSP Raghavendra Rishishwar told that in connection with the complaint, he got the accused Babu’s audio recording done through the complainant, in which Babu Ajay Rajawat talked about the demand of one lakh rupees. Later, the transaction of thousand rupees 233 was finalized between both the parties. Based on the audio of the conversation regarding the bribe amount, the Lokayukta team organized an action to trap the bribe taker on Friday and as part of the planning, the complainant was given cash with chemical and sent to the municipality. The team arrested the accused red-handed as soon as he took the bribe money. Suddenly this action created ruckus in the municipality. The situation became such that the municipality employees, councilors and contractors attacked the Lokayukta team regarding the bribe-taker. He also thrashed the team members while jerking off. This incident of indecency was also captured in the CCTV cameras installed in NAPA. Regarding the matter, DSP Rishishwar has also talked about registering an FIR against the people committing indecency by identifying them through CCTV. ,
