After the collision, the dispute that started with a quarrel started taking a communal form. A young man from a particular community called his acquaintances and relatives. In no time, more than a hundred people reached the spot and thrashed the young man whose bike had hit him and his wife. When the police force arrived from the police station to save them, the youths of the particular community started pelting stones. After this, the police force and officers reached from the control room along with the force of the nearby police stations, dispersed the people and pacified the matter. Police has got the FIR lodged by sending the injured to Tila police station instead of Gautam Nagar police station. However, after the information, many people gathered at Tila police station also that the FIR should not be lodged. According to the information received from Gautag Nagar Police, Sourav Sauda lives in Itwara. His brother-in-law lives in Nariyalkheda. It was the birthday of brother-in-law’s son. Sourav was going to the coconut plantation with his wife at around 8.30 pm on Sunday night. Saurabh’s vehicle collided with the bike of a young man coming from the front near the Military Police. After this the controversy started. There are several large settlements of the particular community near the spot, people came together on the streets and thrashed Sourav Souda and his wife. After the information, the people of Saurabh’s in-laws also started gathering, in the meantime the police dispersed both the parties and pacified the matter. Sourav’s brother said that the accused had also hit him with a sword in the leg, although the police have not confirmed that he was hit with a sword.
