Madhya Pradesh’s Chief Conservator of Forests JS Chauhan said that Uday, another cheetah brought from South Africa, died during treatment after falling ill in Kuno National Park. The cause of death is yet to be ascertained. Investigation is going on regarding this.
According to the information given by the forest department, at around 9 in the morning, male cheetah Uday was seen sitting in a lethargic state with his head bowed. On going closer to the cheetah, it was found to be walking with its legs bent and its neck bent, after which the information about its condition was given to the wildlife doctors. After this Cheetah Uday was inspected and prima facie he was found ill. After this, the male cheetah needed traculize for treatment.
