Kuno National Park : A leopard has died in Kuno National Park. The forest department official told that the leopard ‘Uday’ has died in the Kuno National Park of Madhya Pradesh. After the death of the leopard, the officials have started investigating. The official said that the age of the dead cheetah ‘Uday’ was six years.

Madhya Pradesh’s Chief Conservator of Forests JS Chauhan said that Uday, another cheetah brought from South Africa, died during treatment after falling ill in Kuno National Park. The cause of death is yet to be ascertained. Investigation is going on regarding this.

According to the information given by the forest department, at around 9 in the morning, male cheetah Uday was seen sitting in a lethargic state with his head bowed. On going closer to the cheetah, it was found to be walking with its legs bent and its neck bent, after which the information about its condition was given to the wildlife doctors. After this Cheetah Uday was inspected and prima facie he was found ill. After this, the male cheetah needed traculize for treatment.

near morning After making the cheetah unconscious, it was treated. Looking at the health of Cheetah, it was decided to keep him in the isolation ward for further treatment and monitoring. But Cheetah Uday died at 4 pm. The cause of the death of the male cheetah is yet to be ascertained.
