Amritpal was absconding since March After the police attacked Ajnala police station On March, a major action was initiated against Amritpal Singh and the members of his organization ‘Waris Punjab De’, after which he was absconding. The police had imposed a strict Rasuka against the Khalistan supporter. Several criminal cases have been registered against Amritpal and his associates related to creating enmity between different classes, attempt to murder, assault on policemen and obstructing the work of public servants.
