The goods train was stopped as soon as it reached Bandakpur railway station. Immediately informed the Bandakpur outpost police. The station manager was also informed. The police tried to extinguish the fire by calling the fire brigade. Within a short time the smoke stopped. Actually, a goods train full of coal was coming from Katni towards Damoh. The goods train was standing on the outer for some time at Bandakpur railway station. Only then someone told the station master that smoke was coming out of a compartment of the bogie. The fire is rising. Seeing the possibility of an accident, he immediately informed the police post Bandakpur. After this, BS Hazari, in-charge of Bandakpur outpost informed the Hindoriya Nagar Panchayat and called the fire brigade from there.
