BJP high command made an offer to Shettar

Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Chief Minister Shettar (67) has been asked not to contest the assembly elections to be held on 34 May to make way for the youth. Before the meeting with Bommai, Joshi and Pradhan, Shettar told reporters that he had been offered to contest any member of his family, but said he did not agree to it.
