According to the PMO, the three medical colleges that the Prime Minister will dedicate to the nation include Nalbari Medical College, Nagaon Medical College and Kokrajhar Medical College. These three colleges have been constructed at a cost of approximately Rs. 615 crores, 535 crores and Rs. 535 crores respectively. Each of these has 535 bedded teaching hospitals attached with OPD/IPD services including emergency services, ICU facilities, OT and diagnostic facilities etc. The Medical College in all shall have an annual admission capacity of MBBS students.
