Expansion Madhya Pradesh has remained the Tiger State of the country for the last several decades. After losing this title in the figures of 2010, Madhya Pradesh Even then Karnataka was only two numbers behind. The last census of tigers was done in 2023, whose figures 2010 came in front of me. Then in Madhya Pradesh and in Karnataka was announced to be a tiger. Due to excess of two tigers, Madhya Pradesh regained the status of lost Tiger State eight years back. Happened last year The count of tigers was Wildlife Institute of India Dehradun conducts tiger census every four years. In this episode tiger census was done. For this, methods like taking photos of tigers with trap cameras, satellite imaging and pugmarks were used. Madhya Pradesh’s Chief Wildlife Warden or Principal Chief Conservator of Forests (Wildlife) Jasbir Singh said that we have full hope that Madhya Pradesh will be leading in the country in terms of tiger population.

टाइगर रिजर्व फुल, इसलिए नए तलाश रहे
मध्यप्रदेश की बात करें तो यहां देश में सर्वाधिक छह टाइगर रिजर्व है। सतपुड़ा, पन्ना, पेंच, कान्हा, बांधवगढ़ और संजय दुबरी टाइगर रिजर्व हैं। पांच नेशनल पार्क और 10 सेंचुरी भी हैं। दमोह जिले के नौरादेही अभयारण्य को छठवां टाइगर रिजर्व बनाने की तैयारी चल रही है। 2018 में यहां बांधवगढ़ टाइगर रिजर्व से चार बाघों को छोड़ा गया था। आज यह कुनबा बढ़कर 14 बाघों का हो चुका है। इसी तरह पिछले महीने ही माधव नेशनल पार्क में एक नर और दो मादा बाघों को छोड़ा गया है।

बाघों का शिकार एक बड़ी चुनौती
मध्यप्रदेश के टाइगर स्टेट खिताब को शिकारी लगातार चुनौती दे रहे हैं। 2022 में भी टाइगर रिजर्व और अन्य जंगलों में 34 बाघों की मौत हुई। वहीं, कर्नाटक में सिर्फ 15 बाघ मारे गए। सूत्रों का दावा है कि बाघों का शिकार हो रहा है। वहीं, बाघों की बढ़ती संख्या की वजह से टेरिटोरियल फाइट और अन्य संक्रमणों की वजह से भी उनकी मौतें हो रही हैं। इसी तरह शहरी इलाकों में भी बाघों के आने से इंसानों के साथ उनके संघर्ष की खबरें आ रही हैं। जसबीर सिंह ने कहा कि प्रदेश में बाघों की अप्राकृतिक मौतों के लिए जो जिम्मेदार हैं, उन पर कार्रवाई भी हुई है। किसान खेतों में सुअरों को आने से रोकने के लिए करंट वाले वायर छोड़ देते हैं, जिसका शिकार बाघ भी हुए हैं। हमें इन बाघों की एक्सीडेंटल मौतों को रोकना है। हालांकि, मध्यप्रदेश सरकार ने विधानसभा में बताया कि 2022 में बाघों का शिकार हुआ और इसके आरोप में 31 आरोपियों को गिरफ्तार किया गया था।
