OIC issued a statement on Monday saying, “The OIC expresses deep concern at the acts of violence and sabotage targeting the Muslim community in several states of India during Ram Navami processions. A mob of extremist Hindus torched madrassas as well as a library in Biharsharif. The OIC condemns such acts of violence and vandalism. The OIC calls upon the Indian authorities to take strong action against the perpetrators and safeguard the safety and security of the Muslim community in the country. , calls for ensuring rights and dignity.”
