Due to the sinking of the stepwell in the Beleshwar temple located in Patel Nagar, Indore 35 people died.

The incident took place when people had gathered in the temple to offer prayers on the occasion of Ram Navami.

In the temple there was a stepwell more than a year old. , which was closed by putting a roof.

People celebrate Ram Navami sitting on this stepwell. were offering sacrifices during the worship of.

Due to the seating of more people than the capacity, the roof of the Bawdi i.e. the floor of the temple sunk and together 31 People made below got into feet deep step well.

At the time of the accident, people were one on top of the other. Along with the fall, debris and rebars also fell on the people, due to which they were injured.

Due to water filling in step well and getting hurt people died while are seriously injured.
