Demand for inquiry

According to media reports, Esakki Subaya (belonging to AIADMK MLAs including Ambasamudram constituency), MH Jawahirullah (DMK), T Velmurugan (DMK) and VP Nagaimali (CPI-M) spoke on the matter. Velmurugan sought an inquiry, saying it was being said that the allegations against the officer surfaced because he had allegedly taken steps to stop illegal activities in his jurisdiction. Other legislators demanded that the officer be arrested and dismissed from service.
