Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC) president DK Shivakumar termed the move as unconstitutional. He said, the government believes that reservation can be distributed like property. This is not property. This is the right of the minorities. Shivakumar said, we do not want their four percent reservation to be abolished and given to any major community. The members of the minority community are our brothers and family members. The entire Vokkaliga and Veerashaiva-Lingayat community is rejecting the proposal, claimed Shivakumar.
