In fact, Sinha had given a speech at a private university in Gwalior, in which he had said that Gandhiji had no degree. Pathak said in the notice, Sinha should make a public apology in writing on his statement in seven days, otherwise steps will be taken for court action. Pathak has said that not only he but millions of people who are influenced by the thoughts of Mahatma Gandhi, all of them have been hurt by this statement. On behalf of Dr. Pathak, his lawyer Bhupendra Singh Chauhan, Pankaj Saxena presented a letter to Deputy Governor Manoj Sinha at Raj Bhavan, Jammu and Kashmir.
