It may be noted that a Surat court has acquitted Congress leader Rahul Gandhi in a criminal defamation case filed in On Thursday, he was sentenced to two years imprisonment. The court, however, also granted bail to Gandhi and stayed the execution of his sentence for 30 days to enable Congress leaders to challenge the verdict.
