Online Fraud – Photo: Amar Ujala, Indore Expansion Amidst the fast growing world of online market, thugs have also started finding new ways of cheating. A shocking case has come to the fore in Indore. Here a shopkeeper defrauded a big company like Amazon of lakhs of rupees. The shopkeeper used to order a computer online from the Amazon company and after that he used to put the defective computer in a box and send it to Amazon for replacement. He had done this many times and the company was not able to catch this fraud. After a long time this forgery came to the notice of the company but till then it had defrauded the company of lakhs of rupees. The police is now arresting him and interrogating him. The case is of a computer shop in Nehru Nagar. Police has raided here. Police said that on the complaint of Amit Kumar resident of Parasram Marg, Aslam Sayyed resident of Nehru Nagar has been arrested. The accused has a shop by the name of Discount Factory. He used to give good quality computers to people at low prices. When his place was raided, 9 systems were seized. Investigation revealed that all these computers were purchased online from Amazon. 2023 Aslam used his cunning mind in committing the fraud. He was doing this fraud for a long time. He used to buy computers under different names and used to put the address of the shop for delivery of all. He also used credit cards of several banks to make payments. The company could not understand when the names of different customers came up after the computer was replaced. Later, when the addresses of all the computers to be replaced were checked, the matter came to light. The police have confiscated all the computers kept at the shop. ,
