On the information of the villagers, the Forest Department team reached and started the investigation. Preliminary investigation has revealed that the cow died after coming in contact with the electric wire, then the leopard which came to hunt it also got electrocuted and died on the spot.

According to the information, the matter pertains to the Bamani forest of Kumhari in Damoh. Let us tell you that a cow standing there got electrocuted when the wire of the live electric line broke and fell on the ground in Bamani village under Khamaria beat of Kumhari sub-forest range of Patera forest range of Damoh district, due to which it died. At the same time, when a leopard caught sight of a cow lying on the ground, it went hunting and the leopard also got electrocuted, due to which it too died.

The dead bodies of the cow and the leopard were found together on the ground on Friday morning. Seeing this, a situation of commotion was created among the villagers. On getting information about the incident, the team of Forest Department including DFO MS Uike, Forest Examination Officer Akhilesh Chaurasia reached the spot. Where panchnama action is being taken and the whole incident is being investigated by sending the dead body of the leopard for postmortem.

DFO MS Uike told that Due to breaking of KV line, cow He got hit, due to which he died. This line has been broken since about two days back and since then a cow has also been lying there, which the leopard came to hunt and that too got electrocuted and died. His body is being sent to Jabalpur for postmortem. ,
