The accused uncle attacked and killed the nephew with a wooden stick and a brick for not giving him alcohol. After the incident, the accused fled from the spot. The police have registered a case of murder and started searching for the accused. According to CSP Pratiksha Rathore of Gorakhpur area of Jabalpur, Jogi Mohalla resident Amit alias Apu Benad 47 Was at my home on Friday evening. Then his uncle Raju Benad came and asked him to drink alcohol. When Amit said that he did not have money, he started abusing him while arguing with him. When nephew Amit opposed him, accused Raju hit him on the head and face with a wooden stick and a brick. Hearing the noise, other family members reached and the uncle ran away. The youth was taken to the Government Medical College Hospital for treatment in an injured condition. Where, doctors declared Amit brought dead after preliminary investigation. As soon as the information was received, the police reached the spot and after the Panchnama proceedings, the dead body was sent for postmortem. According to the police, the accused is absconding, his search is on with enthusiasm.
