According to the tradition and calendar of Shri Mahakaleshwar Temple, flowers were offered to Baba Shri Mahakal in the evening aarti on Monday 6th March. Garland made of gulal and sugar will be offered. During this, gulal will also be offered in other temples. Pandit Ashish Guru, the priest of the Mahakal temple, said that today after the evening aarti, the government priest Ghanshyam Guruji and other priests will worship Holika. Holika Dahan will take place in the premises of Shri Mahakal Temple. There will be Dhulendi in the temple on 7th March Tuesday morning. Temple administrator Sandeep Soni told that special flower rose (gulal made from flowers offered in Shri Mahakaleshwar temple) will be offered to Baba Mahakal in the Bhasma Aarti on the morning of March 7 and it will also be available to the devotees.
